In addition to Rainleaf's excellent guide, I'll add a couple of notes. There you should be able to see all where you got bounty and the amount.For this achievement you will have to have all 9 holds there with 1000 bounty or over.
You can easily check your progress and what your missing by going to then General stats and down on the crimes. So go in each hold, kill someone *with a witness to the murder* or become a werewolf/Vampire Lord and then just run away till you can fast travel to an other hold. If you are a member of the Companions' Circle, just transforming into a werewolf also gives an instant 1,000 bounty(no need to kill anyone) or also transforming into a Vampire Lord also gives you the instant 1,000 gold bounty, and it has the added benefit of not having a cool down timer on how much you can change.īest way will be killing a person within that hold ,with a witness to the murder, gives an instant 1,000 bounty.Do not have a companion (or Shadowmere the horse) with you as they tend to kill the witness and then your bounty disappears. You will need to receive a bounty of at least 1,000g in each of the nine holds it doesn't have to be exactly 1000 it can be over that amount, but the bounty in each hold needs to be all the same time, you cannot get your bounty pay it off and then go to an other hold.
Will suggest to make a save and then go for this achievement unless you don't mind paying the bounty later on and most importantly not having an NPC die from your hands that you might need later on for a quest.So save and when achievement pops reload.
